Hi,

We have an old version of VisualCron (5.7.8 I think) currently running on one overloaded and overpurposed server, and we are migrating to 6 new servers. VisualCron and its associated jobs are only a small part of the migration, and many of the VisualCron jobs have dependencies on other components that are also being migrated.

Of course, one approach is to hold off on migrating individual jobs until the dependencies are already in place on the new server. But it would be nice if I could install the current version of VisualCron side-by-side on the existing server with the existing copy of VisualCron. All of the dependencies are there on the existing server, and I can't just upgrade VisualCron in situ, because it's a production server and a three major versions upgrade, so jobs will have to be refactored in order to work.

So, is it even possible to run both versions of VisualCron side-by-side on one server?

Thanks,

Rebeccah

Hi Rebeccah,

No, it is not possible to run both versions of VisualCron at the same time on the same machine as you can only install one version per server at any one time.

So is the green tea i buy in cans the same as the regular tea you’d buy to put in your morning cup? I’ve been told is just normal green tea made to be cooler, but does it have any affect as far as not speeding up your metabolism as fast as normal hot green tea? nusahoki

Just processing some free time on Stumbleupon and I found your entry. Not typically what I like to read about, but it was unquestionably valuable my time. Thanks. olxtoto
