Accessing an old OLM archive can become difficult when Outlook for Mac is not installed on the current computer. There may be several reasons for this situation, such as moving to a different computer, switching email applications, or simply keeping an old mailbox as an archive. Reinstalling Outlook only to read a few old messages does not seem like an efficient approach. There is also no active mailbox that needs to be configured because the requirement is limited to accessing information already stored in the OLM file. A dedicated viewer could make this easier by allowing the archive to be browsed independently. The Aryson OLM Viewer  is designed for viewing OLM mailbox data and can provide access to emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, and other stored information without relying on an active Outlook setup. This seems useful for situations where an old mailbox needs to be reviewed before migration or simply kept for reference. Being able to browse the folder structure would also help locate specific messages without importing the complete archive into another email client. Another concern is maintaining the integrity of the existing OLM file while reviewing its contents. A viewer-based approach can be preferable when there is no intention to modify or migrate the archive immediately. Any suggestions for accessing OLM emails without Outlook would be appreciated. The main goal is to read archived messages and attachments without setting up an email account or reinstalling a full desktop email application.
