You can open PST file on a Mac without Outlook  by using a dedicated PST viewer. One option is MacSonik PST Viewer for mac , which allows you to access Outlook PST files independently of Outlook. It supports previewing emails, attachments, contacts, calendars, and other mailbox items while maintaining the original folder structure.
To get started, download and install the MacSonik PST Viewer on your Mac, launch the application, and click Add Outlook File to browse and select your PST file. Once the file loads, expand the mailbox folders to read emails and inspect attachments. You can also use search filters to locate specific messages and export selected data to formats such as PDF, EML, MSG, MBOX, or CSV.
This approach is useful if you have archived Outlook emails, need to access an old mailbox, or want to review PST data without purchasing or installing Microsoft Outlook. MacSonik also offers a demo version with limited export access, so you can evaluate the software before choosing a license.
